Biography: Helene Deroubaix was born on the 11 th of march 1979 in the north of France. She has always been a creative & imaginative whimsy soul which is why she rarely crossed Mister boredom's way.When She identifies Boredom in her life she finally realized it was but a lack of Love & these lacks layered with Mrs Solitude's embrace is often present in her art. Helene is a spontaneous free spirit, she is a self-taught mixed media artist & also a poetic writer.This can be found in her art which she'd loved to define as visual literature, indeed she's using a symbolical language made of rhetoric types like metaphores, oxymorons, chiasmus to name a few. She has a neverending passion for words & for languages which explains she has a bachelor degree in English + American Literature & civilisation. She began art shyly with collages as she thought one can't be an artist if they can't draw. Thanks to penpalling she discovered the swapping of decos then thanks to internet she discovered Mixed media with American artists she admired. Then it was time to express to be seen & heard, the fae child inside her unfold her wings to become the growing artist and searching soul who creates to speak, question, find answers, understand other, empathize...
